Modernist portfolio built on a grid and nothing else

That is the price of the whole library, not of this one template — All-Access includes every template on the site.

Modernist in the strict sense: a structured grid, no decoration, and the work placed on it. There is nothing to configure into a personality, which is the point — the order is the design, so a set of projects reads as a considered body of work rather than a wall. Global text and colour styles change the whole thing in a few clicks, and the layout is assembled from reusable components, so updating one changes it everywhere.
